In AskiaSurf, this dialog appears when you right-click the campaign in the campaign tree, and select add new wave.... It allows you to add a wave to the campaign, and specify the details of this wave.
The dialog contains the following fields:
Name: Enter a short description of the wave. This name appears in the campaign tree.
Description: Enter a longer description of the wave, if you wish. This is visible in the bottom right pane when you select the wave in the campaign tree.
Start date: This field specifies the start date of the fieldwork in the wave. It is not used by AskiaSurf, but you may wish to specify a date for use in AskiaAnalyse. By default, this date is set to the day after the end date of the previous wave (on second and subsequent waves only).
Mid-point: This field specifies the mid-point date of the fieldwork in the wave. It is not used by AskiaSurf, but you may wish to specify a date for use in AskiaAnalyse. By default, this date is set to the day after the end date of the previous wave (on second and subsequent waves only).
End date: This field specifies the end date of the fieldwork in the wave. It is not used by AskiaSurf, but you may wish to specify a date for use in AskiaAnalyse. By default, this date is set to the day after the end date of the previous wave (on second and subsequent waves only).
