Exporting dat to SAS fixed-length format (AskiaTools)

Use this feature to export data from a QES file or SQL database in the SAS fixed ASCII format.

To export data in SAS fixed length format:

  1. In the file menu, select export, then SAS fixed length.... The SAS fixed ASCII export dialog appears:

  2. Click ... next to ASCII data file, and specify a name and location for the ASCII data file, which has the extension .txt.

  3. Askiatools automatically names the associated Guide and Caption files and selects the same directory, but if you wish, you can rename them or select a different directory.

  4. To perform the export, click OK.
