In AskiaSurf, when you reconcile a new wave into a campaign, AskiaSurf automatically compares the questions and responses in the wave and the campaign to determine which are essentially the same; this process is called matching, and questions and responses that are deemed to be equivalent are matched.
For example: if a question in wave 2 is very similar to a question in wave 1, they will likely be matched (if two questions were identical, they will certainly be matched).
You can specify which elements of questions and responses are used to perform comparisons in the differences group of the options dialog.
Once AskiaSurf has finished performing its automatic matching, it displays the results in the reconciliation view. Here, you can manually over-ride any of the automatic matches if you wish, or define your own. For details, please see the reconciliation view.
