Merging and administrating QES files (AskiaTools)

AskiaTools enables you to manipulate QES files in a variety of ways: you can merge two files into one, consolidate a file's data, selectively purge a file's data and compact and repair the database.

Note: the following terms are used throughout this section of the Assistant:

Primary: the *.QES file that will be the result of the merge operation, once the operation is completed.
Secondary: the *.QES file that will be merged into the primary.
ID: a question variable that can be either numeric or open.
