A profile stores a specific selection of categories (responses) and their properties, the grouping of answers, etc. It is saved in the questionnaire, and can be reused (either by the person who created it, or by his or her co-workers) whenever the questionnaire is opened. You can save a selection of questions and responses to a profile from the rows, columns or edges tabs in table definition.
The profiles tab displays all available profiles, and allows you to add a profile to your table definitions.
The context (right-click) menu of the profiles tab contains the following commands:
Send to rows: Add the selected variable(s) to the result table's row(s).
Send to columns: Add the selected variable(s) to the result table's column(s).
Send to edges: Add the selected variable(s) to the result table's edge(s) (i.e. a super column).
Delete: Delete the selected profile.
