Creating a QES file from an SPSS SAV file (AskiaTools)

Use this feature to convert an SPSS SAV file into a *.QES file.

To access this feature, open the file menu and select import, then SPSS (.sav).... Specify the Askia target file (i.e. you need to name the new *.QES file which will be created, and specify where it is to be saved). Indicate where your *.sav source file is, then click OK.

Note: Closed questions are imported as scaled questions. If you are an advanced user who is comfortable with changing your system registry settings, you can turn off this behaviour by adding a DWORD in your system registry. Add it at HKCu/Software/Peter Holmes/AskiaTools/Settings. The DWORD should be called IsSAVCreateScaled and it should be set it to 0.
