Preparing to use table styles

In order to use table styles, you will need to ensure the following:

• You are using AskiaVista version 6.0.2.1 or higher. To view your version number, click the askiavista logo at the top-left corner of the screen.  For information on upgrading your installation of askiavista to a newer version, please contact askia support.
• You will need basic knowledge of HTML, CSS or LESS, as defining table styles involves editing files in these formats.
• The option table style must be enabled for your askiavista user account. To enable this option, first access AskiaVista's Admin module. There, go to the authorisations tab and select the authorisation for which you wish to activate table style management. There, click the AskiaVista Version 6 tab. In the table style list, select as follows:
  • none (prevents users with this authorisation from accessing table style management);
  • create (allows users with this authorisation to create and use table styles), or
  • display (allows users with this authorisation to use table styles).
