In AskiaSurf, to view or edit the details of a wave, click the wave in the campaign tree. The right-hand pane displays the questions in the wave: click + to expand a chapter or - to collapse the chapter, hiding the questions it contains. The bottom pane displays the details of the wave, as follows:
Name: Allows you to specify a name for the wave. This name appears in the campaign tree. You can also edit the name directly in the campaign tree by selecting the wave, then clicking it again (or pressing F2), and typing the new label.
Description: Enter a description of the wave, if you wish. This is visible in the bottom right pane when you select the wave in the campaign tree.
ID: This is a unique ID that is assigned automatically to the wave when it is created, and cannot be modified.
Order: This is a read-only field, and indicates the position in which the wave appears within the campaign. For example, if it is the first wave its wave order is 1.
Volume count: This is read-only field that displays the number of volumes within the wave.
Start date: This field specifies the start date of the fieldwork in the wave. It is not used by AskiaSurf, but you may wish to specify a date for use in AskiaAnalyse. By default, this date is set to the day after the end date of the previous wave (on second and subsequent waves only).
Mid-point: This field specifies the mid-point date of the fieldwork in the wave. It is not used by AskiaSurf, but you may wish to specify a date for use in AskiaAnalyse. By default, this date is set to the day after the end date of the previous wave (on second and subsequent waves only).
End date: This field specifies the end date of the fieldwork in the wave. It is not used by AskiaSurf, but you may wish to specify a date for use in AskiaAnalyse. By default, this date is set to the day after the end date of the previous wave (on second and subsequent waves only).
