Distribution panel (AskiaAnalyse)

Located at the bottom of the left-hand pane, the distribution panel displays a list of responses to the selected question, along with the order, counts and entry code for each response. It allows you to quickly drag and drop specific responses into your table. You can sort the contents of the panel by any column, simply by clicking the column header (click a column header again to reverse the sort order).

To add a response item to your table, simply drag it from the panel into the rows, columns or edges as appropriate.

You can select a group of adjacent responses by holding down SHIFT as you click, or multiple specific responses by holding down CTRL as you click.

Showing and hiding the panel

The panel can be hidden to allow more space for other screen elements.

To hide the panel:

1. At the bottom of the left-hand pane, click minimize:
   
2. The response distribution panel is hidden.

If the panel is hidden, you can easily show it again.

To show the panel:

1. At the bottom of the left-hand pane, click maximize:
   
2. The response distribution panel opens.
