Use this feature to export any multimedia files stored in the open-ended data of your questionnaire. The multimedia content will be exported as individual multimedia files to a specific directory.

To use this function, open the *.QES file or SQL Server database you want to export from and then, in the tools menu, select export multimedia files from open.... The available options are:

Specifies the format of the filenames that will be used for the multimedia files. For example: ??shortcut????id??.??extension?? will result in filenames that begin with the question shortcut, then have the respondent ID and finally a dot followed by the filename extension, according to the file type.
