New

Create a new tab definition. You can also click  in the toolbar. See tab definitions for more information.

Open an existing askia .QES or .QEM file or an askiasurf (.QEW or .QEWX) file. You can also click  in the toolbar.

Open data in SPSS Dimensions format. Supports Dimensions version 5.0.

Open AskiaField project data, held in a SQL Server database.

Open live survey...

Open an active survey in AskiaField. This is used to allow you to apply restrictions to how live askiafield project data is accessed (using the Open askiaField task... option described above), such as to ensure the connection to the AskiaField project database is encrypted in order to provide European GDPR compliance with regards to the secure access to any personal data. 

Close

Close the current tab definition. See Tab definitions for more information.

New myView

Allows you to create a new myView, the custom questionnaire layout that you can share with co-workers. For more information, see introduction to myView.

Open a myView...

Allows you to open an existing myView (mlv file). For more information on myView, see introduction to myView.

Close myView

Closes the currently open myView. For more information on myView, see introduction to myView.

New portfolio

Create a new portfolio file.

Open a portfolio...

Open an existing portfolio file.

 Save

Save the current portfolio. You can also click  in the toolbar.

Save As..

Save your charts and tables to a portfolio.

Export 

Export your tables and charts to one of these options presented in a sub-menu:

• Word - A Microsoft^®  Word^® document

• Excel - A Microsoft^® Excel^®  spreadsheet document

• PowerPoint - A Microsoft^® Powerpoint^®  document

• ASCII - A simple ASCII text document

• TabsML - An XML document readable by any program that supports the table interchange format TabsML

Recently-opened portfolio files are listed in the sub-menu. Select a portfolio to open it.
