Find all values of a script (AskiaAnalyse)
This feature allows you to create a closed question that will contain either:
To access this feature, in the edit menu select create a variable..., then select find all values of a script. Drag the questions on which you want to base the new variable from the question list in the left-hand pane into the script window.
Note: When a calculated variable is recalculated, askiaanalyse might find new captions and therefore change the IDs of the existing modalities. For example, alternative spellings will be given new IDs and will not be associated to the right group.
If you select "reuse existing list", the previous list of responses will be used. This ensures that the modality ID for old responses will stay the same and the grouping will be correct.
If you want to always use a new set of values, uncheck the option "reuse existing list", which is on by default.
