The size tab of the table settings dialog allows you to set the page format, page size and margins, as well as the sizes of cells on the page.
The orientation section contains the following options:
Landscape: Displays your tables on a horizontally oriented page
The options in the alignment section allow you to center the table on the page.
Center tab horizontally: The tables will be horizontally centered on the page.
Center tab vertically: The tables will be vertically centered on the page.
The margins section allows you to define the page margins:
Left: State the number of pixels that you require for the left margin.
Right: State the number of pixels that you require for the right margin.
Top: State the number of pixels that you require for the top margin.
Bottom: State the number of pixels that you require for the bottom margin.
Indent size: State the number of pixels that will be used to indent responses inside sub-totals.
Show the title: If selected, the title information entered in the title field of the table definition general tab will be displayed.
Title top: State the number of pixels for the title height.
Title alignment: Select the title alignment (centered, left or right).
Header height: Askiavista only. State the number of pixels you require for the page header.
Footer height: Askiavista only. State the number of pixels you require for the page footer.
The cell size section allows you to specify the width, default minimum and maximum heights for the cells in the table. By default, the item size is defined by the value stated in cell size in automatic. When working in automatic mode, the options are as follows:
Default cell width: The minimum and maximum number of pixels to be used for the cell width (except for title, answer category and calculation cells).
Default cell height: The minimum and maximum number of pixels to be used for the cell height (except for title, answer category and calculation cells).
Title cell width: The minimum and maximum number of pixels to be used for the title width.
Title cell height: The minimum and maximum number of pixels to be used for the title height.
Keep columns on the same width: If selected, the same width will be applied to all the columns.
Keep rows on the same height: If selected, the same height will be applied to all the rows.
When you are not working in automatic mode, but with fixed cell sizes, you can specify the width of each column and each row, for the following items: Total, total in Edge, Column 1 or Row 1, Column 2 or Row 2, etc. The options are as follows:
Title column width: Select the item for which you wish to set the column width, clear (de-select) auto, then enter the number of pixels to be assigned. Repeat this stage for each item.
Title row height: Select the item for which you wish to set the row height, clear (de-select) auto, then enter the number of pixels to be assigned. Repeat this stage for each item.
