By profile (askiaanalyse)

This feature allows you to create a new question (variable) from two or more existing variables.

To access this feature, in the edit menu select create a variable.... Then select by profile. Drag the questions that you want to use as the basis of the new variable from the question list in the left-hand pane to the lower window.

To delete a question, right-click it and select delete. You can also delete the DK/NA, which allows the removal or addition of the Don't Know(s) (DK) and/or the Not Asked (NA).

Note: You can save this profile, for later use in your table definitions (or for use by your co-workers in their table definitions).
