Calculation properties (AskiaVista)

The Calculation properties allow you to change the settings for a specific calculation type. To reach them, locate the calculation type in the Calculation category of the Properties panel, and click Display calculation properties:

The properties are split into several categories. As usual with the properties panel, you can collapse and expand these categories. See the Overview of the properties panel for more information.

The available categories are as follows:

General

Common options for the calculation type. See common calculation properties for details.

Total rows

Common options for total rows. See total rows and total columns.

Total columns

Common options for total columns. See total rows and total columns.

Number formatting

Properties that allow you to define how the numbers in your calculation will be displayed. See number formatting.

Ranking

Properties that allow you to apply ranking to the calculation being edited. See ranking.

Conditional formatting

Properties that allow you to add visual indicators or markers to your tables which can enhance the tables' legibility, according to the values being displayed. For example, you might want to display negative numbers in red. See conditional formatting.

Script

Properties that allow you define how script calculations are calculated. See script.
