AskiaAnalyse menus and toolbar

In AskiaAnalyse, you have access to the following menus:

At the top of the screen, you will also find the following toolbars:

Standard toolbar

In the standard toolbar (which can be hidden or displayed by selecting standard from the view menu), you will find the following buttons:

Button Description

  New

Create a new tab definition. See tab definitions for more information.

 Open

Open a questionnaire.

 Save

Save the current portfolio.

Create a calculated variable

Create a new calculated variable.

 Cut

Remove the selected element and place it on the clipboard.

 Copy

Copy the selected element to the clipboard.

 Paste

Paste an element from the clipboard.

 Send to portfolio

Save the tab definition to a portfolio.

 Export to Word Exports the current table/chart to Word. See exporting charts and tables for details.
Export to Excel Exports the current table/chart to Excel. See exporting charts and tables for details.
Export to PowerPoint Exports the current table/chart to PowerPoint. See exporting charts and tables for details.

 Print

Print your charts and tables.

 Print Preview

Preview how your charts and tables will appear when you print them.

 About

View the number and release date of the AskiaAnalyse version you are using.

 

Formatting toolbar

When you are viewing a table or chart, the following buttons are available in the formatting toolbar (which can be hidden or displayed by selecting formatting from the view menu):

Button Description

 tabelement
Tab element

Select the type of tab element to be modified (e.g. Question caption).

font
Font

The font to be used for the selected element.

fontsize
Font size

The font size to be used for the selected element.

 Bold

Specifies whether the selected element's text will be bold.

 Italic

Specifies whether the selected element's text will be italic.

 Underlined

Specifies whether the selected element's text will be underlined.

 Font color

Specifies the font colour for the selected element.

 Background color

Specifies the background colour for the selected element's text.

Style

Opens the table formatting window, which allows you to apply a pre-defined table style, or save your current layout for future use.
