Calculations (AskiaAnalyse)

This section of the general tab allows you to define and select the calculations that you want to display in your results tables.

Calculations are categorised as Flat or Cross:

The calculations that appear in your table – Flat or Cross – are always appropriate to the number of dimensions in the table. If you have a table with a question in the rows and nothing in the columns (a one-dimensional table), then the flat calculations defined in your tab template are displayed. If you then add a question to the columns, making it a two-dimensional table, the cross calculations in your tab template are displayed instead. For a description of the available Flat and Cross calculations, see calculation types.

The columns in the calculations section of the general tab are as follows:

Note: You can change the order of calculations in the list, simply by dragging and dropping them into the desired sequence.
Note: You can set up a custom list of calculations, and make them available whenever new tab definitions are created. To do so, create a new tab template, set up the flat and crossed calculations as desired, and then save the template. Finally, in the program option available calculations by default, select the template you just created. Whenever you create a new tab definition, the list of available calculations will be taken from your template.
