Importing data

AskiaTools enables you to convert data from other existing industry formats, either into an existing QES file or into a new QES file.

To import into a new *.QES file, start askiatools, and in the file menu, select import. The following formats are available (use the links below to learn more):

• Delimited ASCII
• Database (ADO)
• Triple-S classic (.SSS)
• Triple-S XML
• Askia or Pryos XML questionnaire
• Rich Text Format (RTF)
• SPSS (SAV)
• SPSS dimensions
• Excel (XLS or XLSX)

To import into an existing *.QES file, open the QES, then, in the file menu, select import data. The following formats are available (use the links below to learn more):

• Interviews from a directory
• Fixed-length ASCII
• Delimited ASCII
• Askia (or Prylos) XML interviews
• Card column punch data
